On the occasion of the National Museum of History’s sixtieth birthday, the museum’s staff, in order to express to the museum the deepest of blessings, have especially prepared this publication, Treasures around the Corner: NMH Collection 60, selecting from the museum’s collection artifacts that are not heavy with abstruse meaning, but are their favorites, those which inspire most feeling, are rich in historical interest or tell the best stories. 日前有民眾在彰化縣花壇鄉發現一名走失老翁，員警接獲通報後前往查看，發現他有失智症的情形，經M-Police相片比對，配合老翁說法，終於找到老翁住址，才順利通知家人將老翁接回家，彰化警察分局提醒，若民眾在路上遇到迷途長者，可主動通報警方，幫他找到回家的路。（記者劉家甄　採訪報導）

一名老翁日前在彰化縣花壇鄉中山路的路邊徘徊，民眾察覺有異便向警方通報，彰化警察分局三家派出所員警林俊達獲報後隨即前往察看，見老翁衣衫不整坐在路旁，且言語表達不清、答非所問，有失智症情形，由於當天天氣炎熱，員警便請他上車休息，將其送回派出所，警方表示，老翁只會說自己的名字，無法清楚表達身分，身上也無任何證件，經M-Police相片比對，配合老翁說法，終於找到老翁住址，其家人也正因老翁走失而焦急，隨即趕往派出所查看，才確認為家中走失的長者。

彰化警察分局提醒，若民眾遇到迷途長者，可主動通報警方，能幫助他人一家團園，也呼籲民眾多關心家中長者，如果出現失智症狀，應盡速就醫，依醫師指示進行治療，另外，各縣市政府都有提供愛心手鍊等服務，有需要的民眾可前往洽詢。
